1896 Thomas Elam Swann starts an insurance agency in conjunction with his furniture business.
1930 Leonard H. Bruck Agency organized.
1967 Billy Hibbs purchases Bruck Agency, later merges Swann business.
1970 James L. Hallmark joins agency as partner.
1981 Honored by the Texas Legislature for risk management performance.
1988 Established ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan).
1990 Began offering claims adjudication and safety services through Claims Administrative Services.
1991 Launched self funded association programs for school districts and community colleges.
1995 Debuted on the Business Insurance annual list of Top 100 Largest Brokers in the United States.
1996 Formed a joint venture with Lambert Fenchurch of London to launch a new national TPA known as Platinum Safety and Claims Services, LLC, to service Fortune 1000 clients.
1997 Recognized by the Texas Association of Insurance Agents as one of only 27 agencies statewide with over 100 years of service to the public.
1998 Formed Premium Convenience Services to offer higher levels of premium finance service to the public.
1999 Entered into an agreement with Applied Systems to become a test site for the most advanced technological automation and customer service software in the world.
2000 Launched Hibbs-Hallmark.com as an interactive way for businesses and individuals to locate qualified insurance professionals, as well as execute routine transactions over the internet.
2001 Commencement of Patriot National Underwriters and Heartland Security Insurance Group.
2003 Formed Old Glory Insurance Company to provide Workers' Compensation coverage.
2005 Founder, Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Billy Hibbs, Sr. passes away from a hard fought battle with Alzheimer's.
2005 Hibbs-Hallmark & Company is presented with the 2005 Better Business Bureau's Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
2007 Named a Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.
2008 Once again, honored as a Best Practices Agency by the IIABA.
