Claims adjudication services are available through our sister company, Claims Administrative Services, Inc. (CAS).
CAS is a licensed third party administrator (TPA) that contracts to pay claims on behalf of the client in accordance
with agreed benefits. TPA services are available for both workers’ compensation and property/casualty claims. We also
provide stop-loss insurance from a variety of national markets.
Most TPA clients are larger businesses and organizations that are comfortable assuming a small portion of the
risk in exchange for higher levels of savings. CAS provides services to independent companies as well as large
associations, and loss control services are often included. CAS is frequently audited by outside parties to monitor
quality control. This translates into substantial savings to the client and a safer working
environment for employees.
Workers’ Compensation
CAS is very proactive in the handling of claims. Claims professionals are involved as soon as the claim is filed.
The injured employee is consulted, medical services are coordinated, and the ownership/management of the injured
employee is informed of the progress. Both the quality and cost-effectiveness of health services are monitored
closely. Instead of merely processing paperwork, the claim is given the kind of personal attention that minimizes
cost and lost time, while emphasizing genuine concern for the employee's well being, health, and recovery.
CAS services include loss control, medical cost containment, claims administration and payment, claims investigation,
Texas Deparment of Insurance - Department of Workers’ Compensation (TDI-DWC) hearings, DWC filings, claims
reporting and analysis, and a 24-hour claims hotline - all included in one flat fee.
There are no hidden charges. Our goal is to conclude the claim as promptly as possible at the lowest cost to the
employer.
